Caturday: Fast Exiting Kitteh Edition

Music fans: Ten on the Tenth is happening NOW! You have until tomorrow at 9 AM Pacific / 12 noon Eastern to post 10 songs that fit the theme of love.

Speaking of now, tonight is a fully improvised comedy show with the Magic Meathands (including me!) and Jump Start Comedy at the Mary Pickford Studio in West LA. Tickets are $7 ($3 for kids 12 and under), and the show starts at 8 PM.

The Jump Start comedy ensemble from the South Bay of Los Angeles is a fun group of improvisers that joins us monthly for a family friendly show at the Mary Pickford Studio. We’re doing it again this Saturday night at 8 PM. Tickets are only $7 ($3 for children 12 and under).

They’ve been our partners for this show for a couple of years now, and it’s always amazing to watch another group in action. We’ve gotten to see new members join and grow, and the group as a whole get stronger and stronger. I hear tell there’s another Jump Start/Magic Meathands show in the works that will be in their neck of the woods. Details to come!

But in the meantime, get yourself ready for a fun time with our two groups at the Mary Pickford Studio this Saturday night. It’s probably our most popular show. We keep things network TV clean, so you can bring the kids. And we keep things fresh enough for adults.

November 12 with Jump Start

The Magic Meathands (of which I’m a member!) have two shows coming up that should satisfy every comedy need known to science.

First is a family friendly show suitable for audiences of every age. We’re joined by the improv comedy group Jump Start for a $7 show ($3 for kids 12 and under). Jump Start is from the Beach Cities area and is directed by Julie Martin.

November 19 with Held2Gether

Second is our Tag Team Comedy show with our special guest Held2gether, Darren Held’s improv comedy group based in Long Beach. This show is rated Late Night, so you might want to leave the kids at home. This show is also $7.

Both shows start at 8 PM and are at the Mary Pickford Studio, 8885 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles 90034, through the generosity of the Mary Pickford Institute.

The Magic Meathands (with me!) will be performing a full hour of live improvised comedy at The Spot Café in Culver City. We’ll be joined by the South Bay-based improv group Jump Start. The show starts Saturday night at 8 PM and costs only $7 for the whole night.

COMMUNITY – The Great Wall of Los Angeles Bubble Bath is looking for volunteers. This Saturday starting at 8 PM, it’s our Family-Friendly show! We’re joined with fellow improv comedy performance group Jump Start for 2 hours of comedy at The Spot Café in Culver City. Tickets are $7.
