Magic Meathands news spot

The Magic Meathands main company, which I’m currently studying under, was recently featured in a CNN Headline News spot by Jeri Reeder. Director Bill Johnson and Meathand members Heather Brumley and Andrew Pari were interviewed. There’s footage of the group’s performances at The Spot Café & Lounge, as well as a performance for the Hope for Homeless Youth. The latter is part of the community outreach goals of the company.

No, I’m not in this, but I’m happy to be associated with the Magic Meathands. And it also kinda-sorta gives you an idea of what an improv show with this group is like. There’s also several videos of their live improv shows at the Magic Meathands’ YouTube channel.

As I did this past Saturday, I’ll be performing with some members of the main company again next month at The Spot. I’ll post with show info once we get closer.

Voices from Chornobyl demo

The Voices From Chornobyl demo that I helped produce is now on YouTube, so that means I can post it here with the ol’ embed feature. Thanks, Internet!

Yeah, it’s not really hah-hah funny, is it?

I’m very proud of it and enjoyed working with director Cindy Marie Jenkins and the rest of the crew, as well as the fantastic actors. Please visit VoicesFromChornobyl.com for more information.

First recording coming soon

I just spent much of the day recording a song I co-wrote with Aaron Lyons from last September’s live Foe Pa sketch comedy show. The wonderful Edie Murphy patiently and expertly guided me through the process. I’m very excited to share it with you all. I hope to post it soon.

Improv’ing this Saturday

Watch me play with the students of Bill Johnson’s The Magic Meathands this Saturday at The Spot Café & Lounge in Culver City at 8:00 PM. It’s guaranteed fun silliness, completely unscripted and off-the-cuff. I’ve been having tons of fun with this group. The best part is the show is completely FREE! Yes, that’s right! FREE!

Oh sure, now you’re interested.

I hope to see you there!

Demo Reel

Eagle-eyed visitors might have noticed that I added my demo reel to the Video Vault page so it can be with all of its friends. If your wrist hurts from clicking on the internet all day long, here it is embedded for your pleasure.

This reminds me. I need a new demo reel. I’ve done plenty of stuff since this was assembled and they deserve to be bragged about. Well, most of them.
